Mosul – 18 November 2024, the Human Rights Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq, organized a one-day training on digital security and child protection aimed at enhancing the safety of children on digital platforms. Nineteen staff and representatives (13 male, 6 female) from the Community Police in Ninewa attended the training.
The training focused on strengthening participants’ capacity to address the risks children face in the digital environment and pro…viding them with tools to take proactive measures to prevent online child rights violations.
Participants were introduced to resources to enhance their knowledge of online child protection and lead community awareness efforts, promoting children’s safety and well-being in the digital realm.
